Gustavo Barrueta

facilities Manager

Gustavo, originally from Michoacan, Mexico, was raised in a family where his parents married at a young age, and he has several sisters and brothers in Mexico.

During his father’s 30s, the family owned a piece of land where they raised horses, bulls, and cows, and Gustavo fondly remembers his early years helping on the ranch. Despite strong ties to his homeland, Gustavo expressed a desire for independence and, against his father’s initial disagreement, decided to move to the USA in 2002. Starting as a dishwasher in a restaurant, he gradually transitioned to the interstate trucking industry, traveling extensively for 14 years. However, the separation from family prompted him to pursue education in electrical systems. This led to a role as a lead maintenance technician at Cirrus Asset before landing a position as Facilities Maintenance Manager at Heritage House in October, marking a new and exciting chapter in Gustavo’s journey. He brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to his role, eager to contribute to and learn from his new team.
