Dear Philippe, Rosemarie and the wonderful staff at Heritage House,
I can’t fully express my gratitude for you all. I am so deeply appreciative of all that you have done for Peggy. This has been a tremendously difficult time in our lives and you all took us in and embraced us with love, security and kindness. HH is an amazing establishment. We were so happy with Peggy’s care. You are changing people’s lives for the better.

Dear Rosemarie,
I am feeling so grateful for the wonderful care that you and your team provided my mother Mary. You were always caring, proactive and responsive. The facility overall is so clean and bright and spacious, and the way the memory care wing is designed with common space in the center lets caregivers easily see what's happening everywhere and respond to resident needs. I think I just assumed that these are things that you get everywhere, but I'm finding that's not at all the case!

Dear Rosemarie,
I want to thank the entire staff at Heritage House who helped support my grandmother Lynn. You all were patient, loving, and communicative and you managed some really difficult situations with pure class. I can't thank you enough for everything you did for her and my mom, who was there every day interacting with staff and keeping her company. The work you and the team do is really special. I wanted you to know how much my siblings and I appreciate each and every one of you. With gratitude.

Just a note of gratitude for all the time you spent with us (Carol, Susan, Ellen) to impress us with the amazing attributes of Heritage House and its staff’s dedication. I think your descriptions and explanations made us all feel comfortable with having a loved one in your care! I really appreciate the “local” charms of Heritage House and the innovative map HH is able to think outside the “corporate” box!   Most gratefully.

You really went all out to make the “Bee” theme special. Wow! I really benefited from that. So many wonderful goodies landed in my lap. The children’s book is very special. I will read it to my granddaughters, and think of you each time. Thanks so much for your dedication and heart!

What a delightful afternoon I had meeting with you and learning about Heritage House. I appreciate your time on what I am sure is an always busy schedule. Heritage House, indeed, is a really special place and am sure your presence and commitment help create the atmosphere where pure joy seems on full display. It is a place to remember and those who spend part of their life are indeed very lucky! I wish you the best. Thanks again.

I’m Lynne Burt’s daughter and wanted to pass along a message of thanks from my mom! She shared that everyone there treats her “like a queen” and are “taking excellent care” of her. She repeatedly said she didn’t know what she had done to deserve such great care, and thanked me & my sisters for moving her to “such a wonderful place!” During our call, we were enjoying listening to her favorite music & her caregiver sang along too! It felt incredible to hear joy and laughter in my mom’s voice again!

I wanted to let you know that I received your HH Christmas card. WOW!!!! WOW!!!! WOW!!!! Your staff took so much time to write beautiful & uplifting words! I love the photo of you, Philippe and Bill with your dogs! So creative! My Dad inspired beauty and creativity and joy in our lives. Your card does the same! It means a lot to me that you all are caring for him, that his last days of his life are in a place where people are sending love, creativity, joy, & significance. He's so much in the right place. I actually already knew that, but this card affirms it.  Thank you Rosemarie!

I know my mom is finally at rest and I am filled with gratitude for the fine care she received over the years. I remember how she loved the sun, and I would sometimes take her but to the courtyard with all the flowers. I found it hard to imagine a more beautiful, restful place. My heartfelt thanks to Mr. Bill and all the wonderful staff at Heritage House. Thank You!

I am so, so happy I brought my mother to Santa Barbara and Heritage House.  She truly loved her home there. The caregivers and staff are so kind and respectful to the old people, even when they’re rambunctious. Every time I’d bring my mother back from an outing, she said, “Oh good! I’m home.”   HH has been such a big part of my life for 3 and a half years— I can’t just drop it. Every time I left I always said to myself- Thank God for this wonderful place.  Thank you so much for everything you did to help her and help me.

To all the Caregivers of Irene Ellis,
Your kindness and love was greatly appreciated. We found comfort knowing she was very happy with you and well taken care of.

It is impossible for me to put into words the gift you have given to me, my father, and Marty too. There is no way I could have had my surgery without the amazing care I have received at Heritage House and to able to spend this time with my father. I will love you forever for that gift! This place, the love and care you provide to the residents and family, makes this truly a one-of-a-kind magical place. The number of lives that you touch and improve through your creation of HH and how you run it is quite a legacy. Thank you from the entirety of my heart and soul.

Monica’s final months were harrowing for us all but the loving & professional care she received at Heritage House helped ease the pain for her and her family. It was so comforting to see the tenderness surrounding her and I know that she was aware of all those loving hands.   Thank you and your fabulous staff for all that and for the support you all offered me and my family.

What a truly great experience we all had at Heritage House.  Mimi loved it there!  She raved about the service and food, music, bingo, and new friendships!  We are very happy to have been able to offer her this great ending to her life...for such a great lady, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.  She is loved. You made it especially nice to work out any issues.  The entire staff, especially those helping Mimi were amazing: hard working and so very friendly.

I  think "The Honey Bee" is EXCEPTIONALLY done.  It is so wonderful and I really enjoy receiving it. The stories and pictures are lovely. The section topics/areas are perfect. It is so professionally done. I just can't stop raving. "The Honey Bee" is just as superb as Heritage House, and that is not an easy achievement. Thanks for taking the time and effort to make such a wonderful addition to Heritage House for both the residents and their families!  

To Bill and all Heritage House Staff,
I had the privilege of being at Heritage House last Easter and had a great time. This year I got to help some in distributing the "eggs" outside for the kids Easter egg hunt. The "hunt", as usual seemed to be a great success. Everyone was talking and visiting with everyone including the residents and renewing friendships. To top it off, this lunch was the best of the year. My highest complements to Nicole and her staff.

Our hearts are full of appreciation for the love and kindness you have shown our family and for the compassionate care you provided to our mom, Fancy Nancy! She was a handful and even on her worst days, you ALL treated her with dignity and respect. We are forever grateful!

Hi All, Thanksgiving lunch was fantastic. Everything from being greeted at the door, getting the family pic, to the outstanding food and all the servers and staff who as always are absolutely wonderful. Heritage House feels like an extension of home and family and that is an amazing thing that you all have accomplished.. Please extend our thanks to all the staff who contributed to the day and all the others who’s day in and day out work is much appreciated.

Dear Bill,
Good will, friendship and chance combined for the benefit of my parents experience at Heritage House. My parents, Tony, Fred and l were most fortunate. First, most helpful friends. At the beginning, it was your father. During the middle years (fun time) and the end it was you who set the tone for HH. Next, it was good will & help of HH staff who followed the tone you set. Finally, there was good fortune how it all fit together for my parents' last years together. Our BBQ request is the Banks Brothers way of saying that we remember & thank you, the McGeever family & Heritage House staff.

Dear Members of the Alzheimer's Women's Initiative,
I am pleased to nominate the ENTIRE staff at Heritage House for the Alzheimer's Women's Initiative 2016 Caregiver Awards. Heritage House truly feels like home in the best sense of the word. Rosemarie Harris, the Administrator and Bill McGeever, the owner, treat their employees like family who in turn do the same with each other and all of the residents. My family feels truly blessed and very fortunate that our mother (who suffers from dementia) is a resident at Heritage House. We know she is in the best possible place and has many wonderful 'caregivers' watching over her every day.
